Tsubara Tsubara

Tsubara Tsubara is a layer of pancake folded and filled with whole red beans. We added mochi flour into the pancake mix so the texture is chewy and unique. The name "Tsubara Tsubara" comes from a poem in the Man'yōshū (万葉集 compiled in 759 AD) which means "deeply, keenly."
